1. Consider the Knicks: CTK took advantage of his matchup against the last place team and secured a big 7-2 victory. Technically Delon Wright was his BPW, but he was only on the squad for one of his three games so his next best player was the Denver swingman, Gary Harris. Gary put up 22 points, 2.3 treys, 2.7 rebs, 2.7 ast, and 2 steals on 61.9% fg and 87.5 ft% - good for 14th best player of the week. G. Harris has been hot lately and is putting up top-40 value on the season. CTK faces 7th place Down with KCP this week.
2. Nocturnal Sunuva Gun: NSG suffered his fourth loss of the year and his second loss in the past three weeks. Despite the recent bumps in the road he still maintains his second place standing. TJ "head injury" Warren was his best player of the week with 22.3 points, 5 rebs, 2.7 ast, 1.3 steals, and .7 blocks on 55.8% fg and 100% ft - 12th overall for the week. Nocturnal should snap out of it against injury plagued 11th place White Sides Matter this week. No matchup of the week this time.
3. Queef Latina: QL suffered a stunning 2-7 defeat from the 6th place team. Previous to this hiccup he had won 6 straight weeks. Eric Bledsoe posted 18.5 points, 2.2 treys, 3.2 rebs, 3.5 ast, 2.2 steals, and .5 blocks on 59.5% fg and 88.2% ft - good for 13th best player of the week. Bledsoe is settling in fine alongside of Antetokounmpo and Middleton and there is talks they may add DeAndre Jordan to the squad. QL faces off with 6th place The Never Nudes this week. Considering this is the only matchup featuring two current playoff teams it is the 🔥 MATCHUP OF THE WEEK 🔥
4. RimmyTinTin: RTT pulled off an upset against the 3rd place team, winning 7-2. The huge victory shot him up to two ranks in the standings to 4th place. His best player of the week was the James Harden replacement, Gerald Green. Green averaged 23.7 points, 6.3 treys, 4 rebs, .7 ast, and .3 steals on 51.5% fg and 100% ft - for 9th best of the week. Even with Durant playing 1 game this week RTT was able to pull out the victory with the help of his supporting cast. RTT faces 8th place Booker's Hookers this week.
5. It'sFikaTimeAgain: Even with the week 12 win, IFTA dropped a spot in the standings due to RimmyTinTin's big win. Regardless, it's a good sign for IFTA to get a win with the crushing news about Harden's injury. 🏅 On a positive note, Curry returned from his ankle injury and went bananas. He posted 35.3 points, 6 treys, 6.7 rebs, 5.3 ast, and 1.7 steals on 53.3% fg and 88.9% ft - good for 2nd best player of the week.🏅 IFTA has his new name ready as he has a favorable matchup against last place KarlAnthonyPoundTown.
6. The Never Nudes: TNN pulled out his 4th win in the last 5 weeks, however he still ended up dropping a spot in the standings. All four of those wins were 5-4 victories resulting in limited mobility in the ranks. His best player of the week was surprisingly not Antetokounmpo, but DeMar DeRozan.🏅 The Raptor put up 35.7 points, 3.7 treys (that's good for him), 4.3 rebs, 6 ast, 2 steals, and .7 blocks on 55.7% fg and 93.3% ft - good for best player of the week.🏅 The spotlight is on TNN as he will be having a showdown with 3rd place Queef Latina in the🔥 MATCHUP OF THE WEEK 🔥 . Both teams are likely headed to the playoffs so this could be a showcase of an opening round matchup.
7. Down with KCP: Injuries just keep piling up for DWK. The health of his team has more or less led to a 4 week losing streak. Despite the losses, DWK remains a playoff contender. Michael MVP Beasley was his player of the week with 19.3 pints, 1 trey, 9.3 rebs, 2.3 ast, 1.3 steals, and 1 block on 60.5% fg and 90% ft - good for 8th best player of the week. But of course Beasley hurt his ankle stepping on another guy's foot. Hopefully it won't keep him out long. DWK has a tough matchup against the first place commish this week.
8. Booker's Hookers: BK picked up a much needed win last week, and continued his win-a-week lose-a-week pattern since week 7. BK has been in 8th place for some time now and can't seem to move in either direction. His best player of the week was the Finnish Phenom, Lauri Markkanen. He put up 17.5 points, 3 treys, 8.5 rebs, 1.2 ast, .5 steals, and .5 blocks on 55.3% fg and 85.7% ft - good for 15th performer of the week. BK has a chance to break his win/loss pattern against 4th place RimmyTinTin this week.
9. The Brodie: The Brodie picked up his second straight loss this week after a close 4-5 defeat. TB is another team that has been stuck in his spot in the standings for multiple weeks.🏅 LeBron was his BPW of course, putting up 25.3 points, 1.3 treys, 7.7 rebs, 7.7 ast, 3.7 steals, and 1 block on 54.5% fg and 85.3% ft - good for 3rd best player of the week.🏅 TB faces a healthy 10th place Young Kangz this week.
10. Young Kangz: YK pulled off his 2nd win in 4 weeks. His best player of the week was Paul George who posted 24.7 points, 3.7 treys, 5.3 rebs, 3.7 ast, and 1.3 steals 59.1% fg and 84.6% ft - good for 8th best player of the week. Young Kangz is moderately healthy with a few GTD's sprinkled into his lineup. Let's see if he can string together back-to-back wins against 9th place The Brodie. Maybe jump into a folding table for good luck.
11. White Sides Matter: After winning two weeks ago, WSM picked up their 3rd loss in the past 4 weeks. Although they lost, it was a close 4-5 match to a top team. WSM is starting to get healthy with Isaiah Thomas back. LaMarcus Aldridge was his BPW with 27.7 points, .7 treys, 11.3 rebs, 1.3 ast, 1 steal and .7 blocks on 49.2% fg and 73.9% ft - good for 25th player of the week. He has a tough matchup against 2nd place Nocturnal this week, but Nocturnal has been slumping lately. Who knows, maybe another upset is on the horizon.
12. KarlAnthonyPoundTown: KAPT took a 2-7 beating this week and fell deeper into the cellar, although only 2.5 games away from being out of the basement. His BPW was his first round pick Karl-Anthony. Towns posted 19.5 points, 1.5 treys, 15.5 rebs, 1.2 ast, .8 steals, and 1 block on 55.4% fg and 90.9% ft - good for 5th best player of the week. KAPT faces 5th place It'sFikaTimeAgain. He's mocking you man, throw some Fika in his face.
